It has been over 30 years since I made my transition, but I still find myself seeking the company of other Veterans. I feel that we at least have something in common, something we shared, that makes it easier to relate. And I also think "You can't go back..." The organizations we served in have all changed. What we knew was a window in time, that is now gone, like the coming Winter will eventually be a memory. Change happens. Change is what we really need to embrace.
